Television Group (WBTVG) is acquiring Alloy Entertainment, behind hits such as <em>Gossip Girl<\/em> and <em>Pretty Little Liars<\/em>, from ZelnickMedia. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The two have already established a successful track record of collaborating; five of Alloy&#8217;s properties and being produced and distributed by WBTVG, including <em>The Vampire Diaries<\/em>, <em>Lying Game <\/em>and the upcoming<em> 666 Park Avenue<\/em>. Alloy&#8217;s properties have also been produced for the big screen, including Warner Bros. Pictures&#8217; <em>Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants<\/em> films and Warner Premiere&#8217;s <em>The Clique<\/em>. Alloy&#8217;s business lines also include a reputation as one of the most successful independent packagers of fiction. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Leslie Morgenstein will be running the company with WBTVG. Morgenstein has been the president of Alloy Entertainment and its predecessor, 17th Street Productions, since 1999. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;The Warner Bros.
