The drama series <em>Shameless<\/em> is the network&#8217;s number two rated show, behind <em>Dexter<\/em>. It is from Emmy Award-winning television and film producer John Wells and stars William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum. It is based on the hit U.K. series. The comedy <em>House of Lies<\/em>, which stars Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle, debuted as the network&#8217;s second highest-rated freshman premiere night ever. <em>Californication<\/em> stars David Duchovny in his Golden Globe Award-winning role as hedonistic novelist Hank Moody.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"> &quot;These three shows are clearly resonating with audiences as evidenced by their steady growth on Sunday nights,&quot; said David Nevins, the president of entertainment at Showtime Networks. &quot;We are extremely pleased with the creative work being done by the casts, producers and writers&mdash;and I so appreciate that each of these series has such a clear and distinctive voice.&quot; <br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES: Showtime has ordered additional seasons of Shameless, House of Lies and Californication for its Sunday night lineup.
