Worldwide rights for the film are being handled by Inferno Entertainment. Hopwood DePree XIV and Scott J. Brooks of TicTock Studios produced with Christine Vachon at Killer Films. Gus VanSant, Yeardley Smith, Jay Froberg and Greg Suess executive produced. Virginia was written and directed by Dustin Lance Black (<em>J. Edgar<\/em>, <em>Milk<\/em>) is about a charming yet mentally ill mother, and a married Mormon sheriff who may be the father of her son.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;We&rsquo;re excited to add Virginia to our 2012 slate and thrilled to have found a film that complements both our Canadian and U.S. lineups so well,&rdquo; said Dylan Wiley, the VP, of theatrical marketing and distribution at eOne Films in the U.S. &ldquo;Since our recent expansion, our U.S. theatrical team has been actively seeking quality independent films with premium talent to bring to the U.S. market.
