LOS ANGELES: FOX Soccer has renewed its deal for the exclusive media rights of the Football Association (FA) for six more years, through the 2017-18 soccer season. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The multiplatform deal gives FOX\u00a0Soccer the exclusive rights to all content from the FA in all languages for the U.S. and Caribbean. The deal includes the FA Cup tournament, as well as England’s national team home qualifiers and friendlies, and the Community Shield matchup between the FA Cup and the Champions of the Barclays Premier League. In addition to FA\u00a0cup matches, the agreement covers highlight shows, official tournament draws and archive matches, as well as England’s U21 team matches, qualifiers and friendlies. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Football Association is pleased to have reached an agreement with FOX Soccer to extend our partnership for a further six years, particularly as we had so much interest from other parties in the States,\u201d said Stuart Turner, the group commercial director for the FA. \u201cThe network has proven to be a destination for American viewers who want to see quality FA competitions.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
