While it has yet to release its fall schedule, FOX has unveiled its content slate for the 2023-24 season, with two new dramas, two fresh animated comedies and two additional unscripted series.<\/p>\n
FOX\u2019s new dramas include the medical drama Doc<\/em>, based on the Italian series Doc\u2014Nelle tue mani<\/em>. Co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment Studios, the drama centers on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n From prolific executive producer and director John Wells (Shameless<\/em>, The West Wing<\/em>, ER<\/em>) and executive producer and writer Matt Kester (Animal Kingdom<\/em>, Outsiders<\/em>), the Hawaii lifeguard drama Rescue: HI-Surf<\/em> follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O\u2019ahu.<\/p>\n FOX\u2019s new animated comedies include Krapopolis<\/em>, from creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty<\/em>, Community<\/em>). Set in mythical Ancient Greece, the series centers on a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world\u2019s first cities without killing each other.<\/p>\n The animated comedy Grimsburg<\/em> stars Jon Hamm (Mad Men<\/em>, Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>), who also serves as an executive producer on the series. It centers on a brilliant detective with opinions as eccentric as his taste, who can\u2019t help but prioritize his own personal problems.<\/p>\n On the unscripted slate, the game show Snake Oil<\/em> is hosted and produced by comedian David Spade (Saturday Night Live<\/em>, Just Shoot Me<\/em>) and executive produced by Will Arnett (LEGO Masters<\/em>, Arrested Development<\/em>) through his Electric Avenue Productions. In each round, contestants choose a pair of entrepreneurs and learn about their extremely unique (and often bizarre) products through visuals, a custom-made infomercial exclusively produced for Snake Oil and by quizzing the business representative themselves. With the help of their celebrity advisors, the contestants must then decide who is selling an authentic product and who is hawking a sham.<\/p>\n We Are Family<\/em> is an all-new music guessing game show hosted and executive produced by Jamie Foxx and co-hosted by his daughter, Corinne Foxx.
