Campfire Studios, Ross Dinerstein\u2019s Wheelhouse-backed production company, has elevated Ross Girard to chief operating officer.<\/p>\n
Girard originally joined the company in 2017 and previously served as executive VP of production. During his tenure at Campfire, Girard has played an integral role in growing the company and producing many of its biggest hits, including Netflix\u2019s Emmy-nominated series Special<\/em>, HBO Max\u2019s The Way Down<\/em>, Hulu\u2019s feature doc WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn<\/em>, Netflix\u2019s VOIR<\/em> and others.<\/p>\n Dinerstein said, \u201cNot only has Ross been crucial to many of Campfire\u2019s successes on the content front, he\u2019s also played a key role in our recent expansion, as the company has tripled in size within the last two years. His proven leadership, execution, unmatched work ethic and ability to adapt will continue to be tremendous assets in his role as COO.\u201d<\/p>\n Additionally, Rebecca Evans has also been promoted to executive VP of nonfiction content, upped from senior VP of nonfiction. Mark McCune has been elevated from VP of production to senior VP of production and operations.<\/p>\n Will Mavronicolas, previously VP of post at Tremelo Productions, joins the team as executive post producer.<\/p>\n Matthew Taylor has joined Campfire as senior VP of finance, having previously served as controller and VP of finance at Crypt TV. Raquel Villar, who formerly worked as director of business and legal affairs at Giant Spoon, comes on board as senior VP of business and legal affairs.<\/p>\n Dinerstein added, \u201cRebecca\u2019s discernment for IP with potential and her instincts for unscripted storytelling have been superpowers for Campfire since she joined us in 2018.
