Rob Amir has been hired by Content Partners to be its new senior executive VP, taking up the position immediately.<\/p>\n
In his role, Amir will be responsible for augmenting Content Partners\u2019 sourcing of new film, television, music and other entertainment intellectual property assets. He will be based in the company\u2019s Los Angeles headquarters.<\/p>\n
Content Partners owns such titles as 13 Going on 30<\/em>, Black Hawk Down<\/em>, Black Swan<\/em>, Hugo<\/em>, xXx<\/em> and more. The company also owns Revolution Studios and co-owns the CSI<\/em> television franchise. It owns the rights to and\/or interests in more than 500 major studio released films and approximately 3,000 hours of television, as well as a library of film titles that represent nearly $40 billion of worldwide box office revenue.<\/p>\n Prior to joining Content Partners, Amir was partner and head of transaction analytics at Vine Alternative Investments. Before that, he was a managing director at Rizvi Traverse Management. He worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment from 2005 to 2010.<\/p>\n Steve Kram, co-founder and CEO of Content Partners, said: \u201cWe are extremely excited to welcome Rob to the Content Partners family.
