CBS has revealed its 2022-23 prime-time schedule, which features a pared-back comedy block on Thursdays and a Wednesday roster of unscripted series.<\/p>\n
Mondays will see the return of The Neighborhood<\/em> and Bob \u2665 Abishola<\/em> opening the night, followed by NCIS<\/em> and NCIS: Hawai’i<\/em> capping off the evening.<\/p>\n Tuesdays return with\u00a0FBI<\/em> leading into FBI: International<\/em> and wrapping with FBI: Most Wanted<\/em>.<\/p>\n Wednesdays are dedicated to reality programming, with Survivor<\/em> kicking things off at 8 p.m., followed by The Amazing Race<\/em>. These returning hits provide a lead-in for the brand-new romance adventure competition The Real Love Boat<\/em>.<\/p>\n On Thursdays, the night begins with a one-hour comedy block, with Young Sheldon<\/em> leading into Ghosts<\/em>. They provide a lead-in for the new drama So Help Me Todd<\/em>, starring Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin as an attorney and private detective team who are also mother and son. CSI: Vegas<\/em> moves to a new night, capping off Thursdays.<\/p>\n Fridays see the addition of a new drama from Jerry Bruckheimer. S.W.A.T.<\/em> returns to its 8 p.m. slot, providing a lead-in for the new drama Fire Country<\/em>, starring SEAL Team<\/em>‘s Max Thieriot as a convict in a prison-release firefighting program assigned to his hometown where his troubles began. At 10 p.m., Blue Bloods<\/em> returns to close out the night.<\/p>\n The Equalizer<\/em>, starring Queen Latifah, returns Sundays at 8 p.m., providing a lead-in for the new drama East New York<\/em>, about the squad of the 74th Precinct who will not only serve their community but also become part of it. At 10 p.m., the hit drama NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em> moves into its new time period.<\/p>\n Upcoming previously announced alternative series include Superfan<\/em>, a musical spectacle disguised as a game show; Lingo<\/em>, a word-twisting, fast-thinking game show executive produced and hosted by Emmy Award winner RuPaul Charles; Tough As Nails<\/em>; and Secret Celebrity Renovation<\/em>.\u00a0CBS has three original movies slated for the holidays: When Christmas Was Young<\/em>, executive produced by award-winning musician Sheryl Crow; Fit For Christmas<\/em>, starring The Talk<\/em>‘s Amanda Kloots, who will also executive produce; and Must Love Christmas<\/em>, from prolific holiday film writer and producer Mark Amato.<\/p>\n “CBS had another incredible season.
