NBC has added the new drama Quantum Leap<\/em> to its Monday night schedule for the fall and the new comedy Lopez vs. Lopez<\/em> to Fridays, building a comedy block.<\/p>\n

Mondays see the return of The Voice<\/em>, paired with the new reimagined sci-fi drama Quantum Leap<\/em>, starring Raymond Lee, at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tuesdays have The Voice<\/em> leading into the season\u2019s number one new drama, La Brea<\/em>, at 9 p.m. This is followed by the final season of New Amsterdam<\/em> at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

The One Chicago lineup holds onto its Wednesday spot, with Chicago Med<\/em> at 8 p.m., continuing with Chicago Fire<\/em> and concluding with time-slot winner Chicago P.D.<\/em> at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Dick Wolf\u2019s Law & Order<\/em> brand is on Thursdays, with the flagship Law & Order<\/em> kicking off season 22 at 8 p.m., followed by the 24th season of Law & Order: SVU<\/em>. The night concludes with the third season of Law & Order: Organized Crime<\/em> at 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

On Fridays, starting in November, George Lopez\u2019s family comedy Lopez vs. Lopez<\/em> launches at 8 p.m., teeing up the third season of the Dwayne Johnson bio-series Young Rock<\/em> at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile leaning into our strong, stable schedule in the fall, we\u2019re also rethinking legacy launch timing to give our shows the best chance for success,\u201d said Frances Berwick, chairman of entertainment networks for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. \u201cWith the huge reach that our affiliate partner stations provide, coupled with exclusive next-day availability on Peacock, our NBC shows will truly be accessible to audiences in any way that they want to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re continuing to invest in content for NBC that not only has the huge broad appeal that defines the platform, but also the ability to continue to find fans across our platforms following its broadcast debut; a strategy we\u2019ve already seen a lot of success with this season,\u201d said Susan Rovner, chairman of entertainment content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. \u201cWe’re very excited by the new additions to our lineup, which we believe will super-serve our linear audience. In addition, we will continue to develop and order pilots, all of which will help strengthen a robust year-round season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Midseason will see The Blacklist<\/em>\u00a0return for its tenth season, along with second seasons for a pair of comedy hits, American Auto<\/em>\u00a0and Grand Crew<\/em>. Also joining the lineup is the debut of Night Court<\/em>, a sequel to the beloved legal sitcom with John Larroquette reprising his role as D.A. Dan Fielding and starring Melissa Rauch as Judge Abby Stone.<\/p>\n

Unscripted competition is on order for midseason and summer with a pair of competition imports: the new game show The Wheel<\/em>, hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre and based on a hit U.K. format, and the Dutch format Million Dollar Island<\/em>, which will feature 100 contestants who attempt to forge friendships and build alliances as they plot to stay on a remote desert island for up to 50 days and compete to win their share of the ultimate $1 million prize.\u00a0Returning competition series include That\u2019s My Jam<\/em>\u00a0and The Wall<\/em>.
