Domestic Television Distribution.<\/p>\n<p><em>Young Sheldon<\/em> will premiere on TBS on September 27. The series is a spin-off prequel of <em>The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, and it follows young Sheldon Cooper as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful coming-of-age journey.<\/p>\n<p>The show originally premiered on CBS in 2017 and was the most-watched comedy debut in 15 years. It recently concluded its fourth season and has been renewed by CBS for an additional three seasons.<\/p>\n<p><em>Young Sheldon<\/em> is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, Steve Holland, Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS, TNT and truTV, said: \u201cThe Warner Bros.
