{"id":10397,"date":"2021-07-30T12:51:35","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T16:51:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/tubi-stxfilms-ink-content-deal\/"},"modified":"2021-07-30T12:51:35","modified_gmt":"2021-07-30T16:51:35","slug":"tubi-stxfilms-ink-content-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvusa\/tubi-stxfilms-ink-content-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Tubi &amp; STXfilms Ink Content Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tubi has entered an exclusive content deal with STXfilms, adding to its catalog of more than 30,000 titles.<\/p>\n<p>Per the deal, Tubi will have an exclusive free-streaming window to such titles as <em>I Feel Pretty<\/em>, starring Amy Schumer; <em>The Edge of Seventeen<\/em>, starring Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson; <em>UglyDolls<\/em>; <em>Peppermint<\/em>, starring Jennifer Garner; and <em>Den of Thieves<\/em>, featuring Gerard Butler and 50 Cent.<\/p>\n<p>Other additions to FOX Entertainment\u2019s Tubi are: <em>Desierto<\/em>, starring Gael Garcia Bernal; <em>Free State of Jones<\/em>, starring Matthew McConaughey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mahershala Ali; <em>Songbird<\/em>, produced by Michael Bay; <em>Hardcore Henry<\/em>; <em>Me You Madness<\/em>; <em>Mile 22<\/em>, starring Mark Wahlberg; <em>Secret in Their Eyes<\/em>, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts; <em>The Boy<\/em>; <em>The Bye Bye Man<\/em>; <em>The Gift<\/em>; and <em>The Happytime Murders<\/em>, starring Melissa McCarthy.<\/p>\n<p>Further, beginning August 1, Tubi will become the exclusive AVOD home to the adventure documentary <em>Into the Lost Desert<\/em>, which follows extreme desert explorer Max Calderan as he crosses the Rub\u2019 al Khali on foot. The Tubi World Premiere Exclusive is produced by Empty Quarter Studios, executive produced by Billy Sprague and directed by Christopher Cassel.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Lewinson, chief content officer at Tubi, said: &#8220;Home to critically acclaimed films and audience favorites, STXfilms is a perfect partner to help us bring this multifaceted slate to our viewers. Viewers will soon enjoy a strong lineup of talent-driven cinematic storytelling, with many titles exclusively free on Tubi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David Spiegelman, president of domestic TV, digital distribution and home entertainment sales at STX Entertainment, said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be partnering with Tubi to bring our movies to their growing audience.
