The new series is a modern tale about second chances, chasing your dreams and taking back what\u2019s yours. From creator\/executive producer Liz Heldens (<em>The Passage<\/em>, <em>Friday Night Lights<\/em>), director\/executive producer Jason Winer (<em>Modern Family<\/em>) and executive producer Sue Naegle (<em>The Plot Against America<\/em>), it stars Scott Foley (<em>Scandal<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Tuesdays see the pairing of <em>The Resident<\/em> with newcomer <em>Our Kind of People<\/em>. From executive producer Lee Daniels (<em>Empire<\/em>, <em>The United States Vs. Billie Holiday<\/em>) and writer and executive producer Karin Gist (<em>Star<\/em>, <em>Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>), the new drama stars Yaya DaCosta (<em>Chicago Med<\/em>, <em>Whitney<\/em>) and Morris Chestnut (<em>The Resident<\/em>) in a story about a strong-willed, single mom as she sets out to reclaim her family\u2019s name and make an impact with her revolutionary haircare line that highlights the innate, natural beauty of Black women.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesdays will see the return of <em>The Masked Singer<\/em> leading into the launch of <em>Alter Ego<\/em>. From FOX Alternative Entertainment and executive produced by Matilda Zoltowski (<em>Dancing with the Stars<\/em>, <em>World of Dance<\/em>), <em>Alter Ego<\/em> is a singing competition where lost dreams and second chances are reignited when singers from all walks of life become the stars they\u2019ve always wanted to be\u2014performing as their alter ego.<\/p>\n<p>Thursdays feature football this fall and Fridays <em>WWE SmackDown<\/em>. Saturdays are dedicated to sports, and Sundays feature the animated adult comedies <em>The Simpsons<\/em>, <em>The Great North<\/em>, <em>Bob&#8217;s Burgers<\/em> and <em>Family Guy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>New dramas for midseason are <em>The Cleaning Lady<\/em> and <em>Monarch<\/em>. Midseason comedies include <em>Welcome to Flatch<\/em> and <em>Pivoting<\/em>.
