NBC has picked up the new game show Family Game Fight<\/em>, with comedy duo and married couple Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard serving as both hosts and competitors.<\/p>\n

The show marks the first time Bell and Shepard will team up for a television project. Each of the 10×1-hour episodes will see the twosome part ways and be \u201cadopted\u201d into a family of four as they compete in a series of games for a cash prize.<\/p>\n

Family Game Fight<\/em> is inspired by Bell and Shepard\u2019s antics on The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor one of our first dates, I invited Dax over for a game night at my house with a bunch of friends,\u201d Bell said. \u201cHe said he fell in love with me there because I was a very tiny person bossing everyone around. I fell in love with him too because he\u2019s a very large person who could boss everyone around, but chooses not to. I\u2019m so excited to host Family Game Fight<\/em> and play all day with my best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKristen is my favorite human to work with,\u201d Shepard said. \u201cShe\u2019s the most consistently funny, playful and joyful scene partner I\u2019ve ever had. She\u2019s also incredibly fun to look at.\u201d<\/p>\n
