CANNES: Following on the heels of a deal with CBS for Little Mom, Dori Media Group has sold its Magic Malabi Express format to FOX as a Twentieth Century Fox pilot production.

The road trip comedy format is based on a successful book by Miki Geva. The show was originally produced by Udi Segal and Sumayoko for Channel 10 in Israel.

In the U.S., the FOX pilot will be produced by Shawn Levy and Marty Adelstein through 21 Laps.

Nadav Palti, the president and CEO of Dori Media Group, commented: “We are delighted that the Magic Malabi Express format is also entering the U.S. market. The comedy has proved very popular on Channel 10 Israel, and it can be tailored for any market. The quality of Dori Media’s catalogue is helping us gain significant momentum in the US market. We recently sold Little Mom to CBS, and we are excited about the prospects ahead of us in the U.S. market.”
