LONDON: Passion Distribution has bolstered its portfolio with new factual content from U.K. production partners Minnow Films, Pulse Films,\u00a0Iconoclast,\u00a0<\/span>Sundog Pictures and BBC Studios.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0new additions to the catalog\u00a0are Spies<\/em>, a 4×30-minute constructed documentary series; The Art of Japanese Life<\/em>, a 3×60-minute art\u00a0program; Black is the New Black<\/em>, a 4×60-minute docuseries; and The Trouble with Dad<\/em>, an hour-long documentary.<\/p>\n

In Spies<\/em>, men and women participate in a variety\u00a0of exercises based on Britain’s Intelligence Officer New Entry Course. The series debuted in January on Channel 4 and is produced by Minnow Films and GroupM Entertainment.<\/p>\n

The Art of Japanese Life<\/em> looks on as art historian Dr. James Fox takes viewers on a journey through the art and history of Japan. It is a BBC Studios production for BBC Four.<\/p>\n

Black is the New Black<\/em> sees a variety of figures from the worlds of politics, business, culture, religion and science share their experiences of being black and British. It is co-produced by Pulse Films and Iconoclast for BBC Two.<\/p>\n

The Trouble with Dad<\/em> spotlights the relationship between comedian\/writer David Baddiel, his brother and their father, who suffers from a rare form of dementia. The doc is a\u00a0Sundog Pictures production for Channel 4.<\/p>\n
