NEW YORK: Viacom’s MTV\/VH1\/Logo Group has elevated Lily Neumeyer to head of development for MTV and VH1.<\/p>\n
In her newly expanded position, Neumeyer will manage the unscripted development slate and strategy for both channels. She previously served as head of development for VH1. She will continue to work under Nina L. Diaz, the head of unscripted for MTV and VH1.<\/p>\n
Neumeyer joined VH1 in July from A&E, where she was VP of nonfiction and alternative programming. While working for the network, she developed and executive produced Duck Dynasty<\/em>, Wahlburgers<\/em> and Nightwatch<\/em>. Earlier in her career, she worked for MTV, where she developed My Super Sweet 16<\/em> and Juvies<\/em>, among other accomplishments.<\/p>\n \u201cLily is among the sharpest development executives in the industry, with the track record to prove it,\u201d said Diaz. \u201cShe continues to play a big role in driving VH1\u2019s success and I know she\u2019ll bring the same creativity, passion and results to MTV.\u201d<\/p>\n Neumeyer added: \u201cI earned my stripes working at MTV so it holds a very special place in my heart.
