The <em>Save Money<\/em> factual-entertainment brand kicked off 2017 with the first in\u00a0a range of shows aimed at offering viewers a guide to savvy household spending. The latest series, <em>Save Money: Good Food<\/em> (8&#215;30 minutes) sees Reid and Tebbutt provide viewers with tips about how to make intelligent food spending choices without compromising taste or quality. It proves to viewers that they can prepare tasty meals every day for the entire family for under \u00a35. In each episode, Reid and Tebbutt spend time with a different family to offer helpful tips.<\/p>\n<p><em>Save Money: Good Food<\/em> was ordered by Priya Singh, the commissioning editor at ITV, and Sue Murphy, the head of factual entertainment. Executive producers for Crackit Productions are Hannah Springham and Elaine Hackett.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Save Money<\/em> brand launched earlier this month with the one-hour special <em>Save Money: Lose Weight<\/em>, presented by Sian Williams and Dr. Ranj Singh, who tested the value and effectiveness of some of the most popular diet and eating plans available. It continued with <em>Save Money: Good Health<\/em>, which is intended to give viewers smart shopping and spending tips about how to get the best value on health items.<\/p>\n<p>ITV\u2019s Singh commented, \u201cWho doesn&#8217;t want to get more for their money, especially in these belt-tightening times. First diet and health and now with food, we hope the <em>Save Money<\/em> brand provides an essential guide for aspirational living without breaking the bank. We&#8217;re really pleased to have Susanna Reid and Matt Tebbutt as our hosts for <em>Save Money: Good Food<\/em> in this inspiring, informative and entertaining new series.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crackit Productions\u2019 Hackett said, \u201cSusanna Reid and Matt Tebbutt are firm family favorites, and who better to inspire people to create a menu that\u2019s achievable price-wise as well as tasty. As producers, we\u2019re delighted to be working with them both, and with ITV to create a returnable format with Susanna\u2014her first on prime-time ITV.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reid remarked: &#8220;It&#8217;s a challenge families face daily, thinking up the week&#8217;s food menu and how to make them continually interesting whilst shopping within a budget.
