The show, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, features ultra HD\u00a0footage of islands, mountains, jungles, grasslands, deserts and cities from around the globe. It is due to debut on BBC America, AMC and SundanceTV in the U.S. on February 18 at 9 p.m. The following five episodes will\u00a0air\u00a0on BBC America on Saturday nights after the premiere.<\/p>\n<p><em>Planet Earth II<\/em> is a BBC Studios Natural History Unit production co-produced with BBC America. It was first broadcast\u00a0on BBC One in the U.K. late last year.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Barnett, the president of BBC America, and Charlie Collier, the president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios, commented: &#8220;<em>Planet Earth II<\/em> is extraordinary, epic television that connects viewers to our beautiful, shared world.
