In his new role, he is\u00a0responsible for the strategy, development and execution of the company&#8217;s digital media distribution business. Collaborating with pay-TV operators and digital content distributors, he will work to expand Discovery&#8217;s offerings on mobile, online and emerging platforms with content from its 13 U.S. channels.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Sauerhoff served as Discovery&#8217;s VP of digital media distribution.
