It is slated to begin airing next month.\u00a0<em>Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled<\/em> is produced by Phil McIntyre Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Davies remarked: &#8220;In this post-truth era, only Dave would dare run a show in which the guests talk openly about events that actually happened. Many famous comedy faces will appear as well as several talented people I&#8217;ve never heard of. Normally, being 50 now, I can&#8217;t stand meeting new people but thanks to Dave, I&#8217;m overcoming that fear.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Iain Coyle, senior commissioning editor and executive producer for UKTV, said: \u201cI love this show; it\u2019s consistently brilliant. The combination of seeing a new side to the biggest names in comedy and the show\u2019s continuing commitment to fresh talent is a credit to the producers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Steve North, Dave&#8217;s general manager, noted: \u201cI am delighted to have a brand-new [season]\u00a0of <em>As Yet Untitled<\/em> on Dave; I see it as a vital opportunity to help introduce some of the freshest names in comedy to a broader television audience. Alan continues to be a brilliantly warm host and unearth some incredible stories out of an amazing array of guests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lucy Ansbro, exec producer for Phil McIntyre, added: \u201cWe are thrilled to be working with the channel and UKTV again on such a brilliant series. Alan is great at coaxing the best stories out of the guests every episode.
