Diaz is expanding her remit to now oversee the development and production of all unscripted programming for MTV and VH1.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Diaz served as executive VP and head of reality programming at VH1. She will continue to report to Chris McCarthy, who recently was named president of MTV, VH1 and Logo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNina has made a career of developing big, bold series that cut through and emerge as cultural touchstones, from <em>Martha &amp; Snoop<\/em>\u00a0to <em>Cribs<\/em>\u00a0to the most successful seasons of <em>Love &amp; Hip Hop<\/em>,\u201d said McCarthy. \u201cI couldn\u2019t ask for a better partner, and I\u2019m thrilled she\u2019ll be taking on this expanded role and building on her incredible legacy at MTV and VH1.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diaz commented, \u201cI\u2019m humbled by this wonderful opportunity to return to MTV, while continuing to work with my incredibly talented colleagues at VH1.
