SHERMAN OAKS: GRB Entertainment has appointed former A+E Networks exec Melanie Torres as its new director of international sales and elevated Liz Levenson to the post of VP of acquisitions and sales.<\/p>\n
Torres will be responsible for sales growth and profitability in Latin America, U.S. Hispanic, CEE, CIS and Spanish-speaking Europe. Prior to joining GRB, Torres served as associate manager of international content distribution at A+E Networks. She spent four years at A+E, working across Latin America, U.S. Hispanic, U.S. Syndication, Canada, the U.K., Benelux, CEE and CIS.<\/p>\n
Levenson has worked at GRB for three years and has been promoted from a director role. She handles worldwide acquisitions for the international division and is responsible for sales in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n
