NEW YORK: Oxygen Media has appointed Shanon Smith, formerly of Twofour America, as VP of production and operations.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Smith will manage the production of all original series and specials for Oxygen\u2019s programming slate. She will be based in Los Angeles, reporting to David O\u2019Connell, the executive VP of production and operations for Lifestyle Networks.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Oxygen Media, Smith served as executive VP of production and operations at Twofour America. In that role, she oversaw production, finance and operations on multiple series that aired on HISTORY, Discovery, ABC, Lifetime and other networks. She began her career at E! Entertainment and has also worked at OWN.<\/p>\n
