BURBANK: Ghen Maynard has been named to the newly created position of senior executive VP of alternative programming at CBS Television Studios.<\/p>\n
Maynard will oversee development of new alternative programming for the studio. He will work with producers across the industry to create and develop a wide range of unscripted content for all broadcast and cable networks, streaming services and digital platforms. Maynard previously was with CBS, having developed and launched four of reality television\u2019s longest-running hits: Survivor<\/em>, the U.S. version of Big Brother<\/em>, The Amazing Race<\/em> and America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to have Ghen return to CBS to help build our Studio\u2019s alternative department,\u201d said David Stapf, the president of CBS Television Studios, to whom Maynard will report. \u201cGhen has an outstanding track record in the unscripted arena, having developed some of reality television\u2019s biggest hits.
