It will follow 11-year-old up-and-coming comedian Saffron Herndon as she sharpens her stand-up act. The ten-episode series is slated for a premiere in early 2017.<\/p>\n<p>DeGeneres said, &#8220;It\u2019s crazy that Saffy is telling such hilarious jokes at 11 years old. When I was 11, I was telling knock-knock jokes. To be honest, I\u2019m still telling knock-knock jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world of stand-up comedy has never been explored through the point of view of an 11-year-old kid,\u201d said\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">Elaine Frontain Bryant, the executive VP and head of programming at A&amp;E Network<\/span>. \u201cSaffy\u2019s journey, like that of any artist, is unique and unexpected.
