NEW YORK: VH1 has greenlit the tentatively titled Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party<\/em>, starring Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg,\u00a0for a fall premiere.<\/p>\n

On the weekly series, Stewart and Snoop Dogg will invite celebrity friends over for an evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation and fun. While the two have worked together before, most recently on ABC’s $100,000 Pyramid<\/em>, this marks their first co-starring project.<\/p>\n

“At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity,\u201d said Stewart. \u201cMartha & Snoop’s Dinner Party<\/em> will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.\u201d<\/p>\n

“My homegirl Martha and I have a special bond that goes back,\u201d added Snoop Dogg. \u201cWe’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”<\/p>\n

“We’re thrilled to partner with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, two of pop culture’s biggest icons,” commented VH1 and Logo President Chris McCarthy. “Good parties are filled with fun, food and unexpected guests. The show was created and is executive produced by Stewart and Kim Miller Olko for Sequential Brands Group, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung for MERRY JANE and SallyAnn Salsano for 495 Productions. Nina L.
