The production is scheduled to air on ITV this autumn.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Kelpie, the managing director of Potato, said: \u201cThis summer, as millions of families head to the West Country for their holidays, it\u2019s unlikely many will spare a thought for the people who work hard to ensure they are safe. <em>Devon and Cornwall Blues<\/em> offers an eye-opening insight into the unique challenges faced by one of the U.K.\u2019s major police forces as millions of visitors flock to the region each summer. We have been granted unparalleled access to and complete cooperation with the many diverse constituent parts of Devon and Cornwall Police that work tirelessly to protect and serve locals and visitors alike throughout this busy period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Priya Singh, ITV\u2019s commissioning editor for factual, added: \u201cPolicing Britain&#8217;s biggest and busiest holiday destination during the height of summer makes for some unique and particular challenges.
