{"id":8971,"date":"2016-07-21T11:34:33","date_gmt":"2016-07-21T15:34:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/logo-orders-more-rupauls-drag-race-kelly-ripa-docuseries\/"},"modified":"2016-07-21T14:05:54","modified_gmt":"2016-07-21T18:05:54","slug":"logo-orders-more-rupauls-drag-race-kelly-ripa-docuseries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/logo-orders-more-rupauls-drag-race-kelly-ripa-docuseries\/","title":{"rendered":"Logo Orders More RuPaul&#8217;s Drag Race, Fire Island Docuseries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK: U.S. network Logo has renewed its Emmy-nominated series <em>RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/em> for a ninth season, while also commissioning a docuseries from Kelly Ripa.<\/p>\n<p>RuPaul will also return to the network this summer with a second season of <em>RuPaul\u2019s All Stars Drag Race<\/em>, premiering August 25 with a 90-minute episode. <em>RuPaul&#8217;s Drag Race<\/em>, which recently received two Emmy nods, is produced by World of Wonder Productions with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Steven Corfe, Mandy Salangsang and RuPaul Charles serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeason nine of <em>RuPaul&#8217;s Drag Race<\/em> will be bigger, better and more twisted than ever,\u201d said RuPaul. \u201cThank you Logo for continuing to provide a powerful platform for these brave, gorgeous and creative souls to tell their stories. They represent the hopes and dreams of all the outsiders around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ripa and Mark Consuelos\u2019s Milojo Productions will present <em>Fire Island<\/em>, a docuseries following a group of young New York City professionals who leave behind the stress of their big city lives and escape to Fire Island Pines.
