LONDON: DRG has landed its first round of deals for Race for the White House<\/em>, a docuseries narrated by Kevin Spacey, including a sale to Netflix.<\/p>\n

The 6×1-hour CNN original series was also sold to Foxtel (Australia), Odisea\/Odisseia (AMC Networks International Iberia), NRK (Norway), DR (Denmark), kabel eins Doku (Germany), Channel 8 (Israel) and Gibraltar Broadcasting Company. The series uses rare archival footage, interviews and stylized dramatizations, with each episode telling the story of one iconic campaign for president of the United States.<\/p>\n

Noel Hedges, the executive VP of content and acquisitions at DRG, commented: \u201cWith its fast pace, natural drama, iconic political figures and fantastic narration from Kevin Spacey\u2014who brings a touch of Frank Underwood in relaying the twists and turns of each campaign\u2014it\u2019s no surprise that Race for the White House<\/em> reached 2.56 million viewers and became the highest-rated CNN original series when first broadcast in America.<\/p>\n
