NEW YORK: WWE star John Cena has inked a development deal with ITV America\u2019s Leftfield Entertainment (LFE) to co-create and produce unscripted projects.<\/p>\n

The deal extends LFE\u2019s relationship with Cena, who already stars in and executive produces Leftfield Picture’s\u00a0American Grit<\/em>\u00a0for FOX. Cena and Leftfield are currently developing\u00a0several projects, including series set in the worlds of real estate and construction. The WWE celebrity will executive produce via his Hard Nocks South production banner.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether I\u2019m in the ring for WWE or on a TV or film set, I approach all of my work the same way: with focus, authenticity and total commitment,\u201d Cena said. \u201cI\u2019m eager to bring that same work ethic to the team at Leftfield, and to create new kinds of programming that can inspire and push people to be their best.
