{"id":8906,"date":"2016-07-08T12:26:03","date_gmt":"2016-07-08T16:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/cbc-commissions-canada-the-story-of-us\/"},"modified":"2016-07-08T12:26:03","modified_gmt":"2016-07-08T16:26:03","slug":"cbc-commissions-canada-the-story-of-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/cbc-commissions-canada-the-story-of-us\/","title":{"rendered":"CBC Commissions Canada: The Story of Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO: Bristow Global Media is producing the ten-part docudrama <em>Canada: The Story of Us<\/em>, based on the Nutopia format, for CBC to air in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Production has already begun and shooting is planned to wrap on July 22. <em>Canada: The Story of Us<\/em> will then air exclusively on CBC in 2017 as part of the pubcaster&#8217;s lineup of original programming commissioned to celebrate Canada&#8217;s 150th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>The 10&#215;1-hour series will explore the people, places and events that have shaped the country.
