Donnie Brasco). The show follows as Pistone presents details from global undercover operations involving real agents for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Pistone is a former undercover agent turned author, executive producer and expert who detailed his undercover infiltration in the 1988 book <em>Donnie Brasco: My Undercover Life in the Mafia<\/em>. The book served as the basis for the movie <em>Donnie Brasco<\/em>, starring Johnny Depp as Pistone and Al Pacino.<\/p>\n<p>The first 30 of 52 half-hour episodes will begin airing in this fall.
