NEW YORK: AMC is developing a new documentary series that will explore the stories, people and events that have transformed the world of comic books.<\/p>\n
Tentatively titled Heroes and Villains: The History of Comic Books<\/em>, the 6×1-hour series is being prepped for a 2017 debut. The show will be executive produced by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert (The Walking Dead<\/em>) through Skybound Entertainment.<\/p>\n “We are incredibly excited to continue our partnership with Robert, David and Skybound,” said Joel Stillerman, the president of programming atAMC and SundanceTV. “Beyond The Walking Dead<\/em> and Fear the Walking Dead<\/em>, they are prolific producers and publishers who have an amazing knowledge of comic book history and genre storytelling.
