LONDON\/LEICESTER: Zig Zag Productions has entered into an agreement with Leicester City and England national team footballer Jamie Vardy\u2019s V9 Academy to produce a documentary series.<\/p>\n
The three-part documentary series, tentatively titled Jamie Vardy\u2019s Having an Academy<\/em>, follows the football player as he helps non-league talent get to the next level by providing them with an educational experience in what it takes to play professional football. The series is the first project to result from a development deal with Fleet Street Sport & Media Group, a media services business led by former international footballer and Sunderland FC Chairman Niall Quinn MBE.<\/p>\n Vardy\u2019s Having an Academy<\/em> will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how coaching, sport science, fitness methodology, talent identification and mental training are carried out at the professional level. The program will also follow the stories of those who enter the V9 Academy, as well as offer insight into Vardy\u2019s time in non-league football.
