LONDON: Catherine Lynch has been elevated to creative director of Endemol Shine Group producer Initial, effective immediately.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Lynch will oversee the expansion of Initial’s entertainment and factual-entertainment programming slate for U.K. broadcasters with international potential. She will work under Mirella Breda, the company’s managing director.<\/p>\n

Lynch has been Initial’s head of development since 2011, responsible for the development of the company’s slate and serving as executive producer on key shows, including ITV2’s The Almost Impossible Game Show<\/em>. She first joined Endemol Shine UK as a creative intern in 2003 before working for Monkey and ITV Studios from 2005 to\u00a02007. She returned to the company in 2007 to manage the creative intern program and was promoted to senior development producer two years later.<\/p>\n

Breda remarked: “Cat has played an instrumental role in the success of Initial and I am thrilled she has taken on this role as we move to our next phase. Cat is a bold and original creative with the vision to bring extraordinary ideas to life.\u201d<\/p>\n
