LONDON: Passion Distribution has placed several factual entertainment and true-crime titles with international broadcasters, including Foxtel, which acquired season two of Mind of a Murderer<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Foxtel in Australia has taken the docudrama Dead of Winter: The Donner Party<\/em>. Discovery Networks Southern Europe, meanwhile, signed on for seasons two and three of Prospectors<\/em>. In Spain, Discovery snapped up the second-window rights for the first two seasons of Klondike<\/em> for its Discovery MAX channel.<\/p>\n

Discovery in Italy, meanwhile, picked up more than 60 hours of programming, including the second and third seasons of Prospectors<\/em>, as well as the 8×1-hour Weather Gone Viral<\/em>. Discovery also licensed content from Passion\u2019s true-crime catalogue. Among those acquisitions are Mail Order Murder<\/em>, seasons one and two of Stalked<\/em> and Frenemies<\/em>, and the documentaries Escorts<\/em> and The Rarest Boy in the World<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In France, RMC D\u00e9couverte scooped up a package totaling more than 65 hours of programming. The deal covers the first four seasons of Prospectors<\/em>, seasons one and two of Klondike Gold Fever<\/em> and season three of Timber Kings<\/em>. In addition, AB Group in France went for 3 Scientists Walk into a Bar<\/em>, while TFI acquired the second season of Tornado Alley<\/em> for Ushua\u00efa TV.<\/p>\n

The first and second seasons of Fat Guys in the Woods<\/em>, as well as the 10×1-hour Heli-Loggers<\/em>, have been picked up by BBC Worldwide for its BBC Brit channel in Poland. BBC Worldwide also licensed the 12th season of Traffic Cops<\/em> for BBC Brit in Africa. All seasons of Traffic Cops<\/em> are headed to the UKTV channel in New Zealand.<\/p>\n

In the U.K., meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment picked up a host of titles, including Batman Shootings<\/em>, Captive for 18 Years: The Jaycee Lee Story<\/em>, Stacey Dooley: Beaten by My Boyfriend<\/em>, Cutting Edge: The Black Widow<\/em>, Why Did Oscar Pistorius Kill Our Daughter?<\/em>, The Cleveland Captives: What Really Happened?<\/em> and Wife, Mom & Bounty Hunter<\/em> for its True Crime channel.<\/p>\n

In Asia, True Thailand licensed Timber Kings<\/em> season two. ABS-CBN in the Philippines acquired the documentaries Rich Kids of Social Media<\/em>, Charlie Hebdo: 3 Days of Terror<\/em> and Unreported World<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
