TORONTO: Blue Ant International is expanding its U.K. office through the appointment of Mike Jackson, formerly of Banijay International, as the senior director of international sales and acquisitions.<\/p>\n
In his new position, Jackson will be charged with overseeing efforts across a remit that includes co-productions, presales, sales and acquisitions. He will be responsible for sales into the U.K., the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland), Benelux (the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg), Southern Europe (Italy Capodistria, Malta, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican City, Greece and Cyprus) and the Middle East (Afghanistan, Armaco, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Oman).<\/p>\n

Jackson joins the company from Banijay International, where he served as head of global sales. Prior to that, Jackson also worked at DCD Rights, Zodiak Rights and DRG\u2019s Zeal Television.
