LONDON: Hat Trick International has secured deals with a host of global broadcasters for true-crime titles such as The Mafia with Trevor McDonald<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Mafia with Trevor McDonald<\/em>, Plum Pictures\u2019 recent two-parter for ITV, has been sold to Medialaan (Belgium), Nine Network (Australia), FTV Prima (Czech Republic), TV2 Danmark (Denmark), Planete+ CI (France), AMC Networks (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia), 365 Media (Iceland), UTV (Ireland), RTL (Netherlands) and TV2 (Norway). Also from Plum Pictures for ITV, Rookie Cops<\/em> has been picked up by Medialaan (Belgium), TV2 (Denmark), UTV (Ireland), Prime (New Zealand) and TV2 (Norway).<\/p>\n

Plum Pictures\u2019 new two-part ITV documentary Killer Women with Piers Morgan<\/em> will be making its debut at MIPTV. In the doc, the CNN and Got Talent<\/em> presenter and journalist embarks on a road trip across Texas and Florida to meet some of the world\u2019s most notorious female murderers.<\/p>\n

Also prepped for MIPTV is the 4×1-hour Inside the World\u2019s Toughest Prisons<\/em>, the first series commission from Emma Read\u2019s new Emporium Productions following the U.K. producer\u2019s recently announced partnership with Hat Trick.<\/p>\n
