In his new role, Carvalho will report to Liam Humphreys, who heads the factual entertainment and entertainment teams at the channel. The appointment follows his stint covering a maternity leave in the Channel 4 formats department, where he commissioned series such as <em>That\u2019s So Last Century<\/em>, <em>Look into My Eyes<\/em> and <em>Dominos: A Slice of Life<\/em>. He also oversaw returning formats, including <em>Virtually Famous<\/em> and <em>Three Day Nanny<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Channel 4 in 2014, Carvalho served as head of development at Pulse Films.
