The 6&#215;60-minute program will take viewers to such locations\u00a0as Papua New Guinea, Bolivia and Ecuador.<\/p>\n<p><em>Trailblazers<\/em> marks the third major U.S. commission for October Films over the past few\u00a0months, with the other two being <em>Mygrations<\/em> for National Geographic Channel and <em>Barbarians Rising<\/em> for HISTORY.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Muckle, the head of U.S. factual at October Films, commented: &#8220;I&#8217;m very proud that Discovery is backing us to deliver this ambitious new series; following some of the world\u2019s bravest scientists, putting their lives on the line, to push back the frontiers of human knowledge. In the most dangerous places on Earth, the most amazing discoveries are waiting to be made.
