LeBlanc has been a guest on the show twice and presented the recent standalone spin-off <em>Top Gear: The Races<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>He joins production immediately and additional <em>Top Gear<\/em> cast members will be confirmed shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Evans said of his new <em>Top Gear<\/em> presenting partner: \u201cMatt\u2019s a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I\u2019m thrilled he&#8217;s joining<em> Top Gear<\/em>. Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we\u2019ll both be debating some epic road trip ideas. We can\u2019t wait to share what we\u2019ve been up to on screen later this year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>LeBlanc commented: \u201cAs a car nut and a massive fan of <em>Top Gear<\/em>, I&#8217;m honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show\u2019s new chapter. What a thrill!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alan Tyler, the BBC\u2019s acting controller for entertainment commissioning, said: \u201cMatt is a class act and a brilliant signing for <em>Top Gear<\/em>. He is a self-confessed car fanatic with a passion for the program.
