{"id":8168,"date":"2016-01-21T14:07:40","date_gmt":"2016-01-21T19:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/tcb-media-rights-secures-slew-of-doc-sales\/"},"modified":"2016-01-21T15:52:29","modified_gmt":"2016-01-21T20:52:29","slug":"tcb-sells-docs-adds-to-catalogue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/tcb-sells-docs-adds-to-catalogue\/","title":{"rendered":"TCB Sells Docs, Adds to Catalogue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: TCB Media Rights has secured a number of sales for its one-off documentaries, while also adding several U.K. indie production companies as content partners, along with around 60 hours of factual-entertainment programming.<\/p>\n<p>Middlechild&#8217;s <em>41 Dogs in My Home<\/em> and <em>Love Me, Love My Cats<\/em> have sold to Nine Network Australia, MediaWorks TV New Zealand, TV4 Sweden and Discovery Networks Norway. TVN Poland, Medialaan Belgium and MTV Finland also went for <em>41 Dogs in My Home<\/em>. Icon Films&#8217;s <em>Mega-Yachts<\/em> is headed to TVN Poland, Medialaan Belgium, Nine Networks Australia, MediaWorks New Zealand and RTL Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>TCB inked a representation deal with Wild Pictures for <em>Trawlermen Tales<\/em>, a three-part series that debuted this month on ITV in the U.K. Another agreement was signed with Crackit Productions for the doc <em>Skinny Brides to Fat Wives<\/em>, which aired on the U.K.&#8217;s Channel 5.<\/p>\n<p>BriteSpark Films is extending its partnership with TCB through a deal for <em>The Pusher: Manchester&#8217;s Serial Killer?<\/em>, which premiered on Channel 4 in the U.K. TCB also signed up for two BBC4 docs: Kaboom Film &amp; TV&#8217;s <em>A Brief History of Graffiti<\/em> and Furneaux &amp; Edgar&#8217;s <em>The French Revolution: Tearing Up History<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional new producer collaborations include Klinik TV&#8217;s <em>Al&#8217;s Fishing with Mates<\/em>; <em>Ocean Patrol: Coastwatch<\/em> and <em>Car Cops: Nabbed<\/em> from CJZ\/Greenstone; and Seven Productions&#8217;s <em>Bringing Sexy Back<\/em>, a makeover show that has\u00a0already sold to TVN Poland, SBS Belgium and TV2 Norway.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Heaney, the CEO of TCB, said: &#8220;This surge of deals is a great start to 2016 and a measure of the quality and creativity of our producer partners.
