He has worked in the TV industry for more than three decades. Early in his career, he made a name for himself as one of the youngest directors for the BBC flagship show <em>The Nine O&#039;Clock News<\/em>. He spent 18 years at the BBC, where he re-launched the BBC Wales Nightly Magazine program and produced a wide variety of programming. In 1997, Mills co-founded Lion Television, known for such hits as <em>Castaway<\/em> and <em>Playing It Straight<\/em>. The production company was later sold to the All3Media group.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tKate Beal, Woodcut Media&#039;s chief executive, remarked: &quot;I could not be more excited to welcome such an outstanding high-profile industry executive such as Jeremy as we transition to the next stage of our development. His track record speaks for itself, and over the years he has produced genuinely groundbreaking shows in the factual space.
