Viewers will be able to watch the channel for free when it goes live at 1 p.m. Aussie chef Curtis Stone will star in several shows on the network, including <em>Beach Eats USA<\/em>, <em>Kitchen Inferno<\/em> and <em>Surfing the Menu<\/em>. Other programming highlights include <em>Rachael Ray&#039;s 30 Minute Meals<\/em>, <em>Giada at Home<\/em>, <em>Reza: Spice Prince of Vietnam<\/em>,<em> Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern<\/em>, <em>Diners, Drive Ins &amp; Dives<\/em> and <em>Chopped<\/em>, sourced through an output and licensing deal with Scripps Networks Interactive. The channel will also feature a variety of SBS&#039;s locally made programs led by Australian personalities.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFood Network Australia will air 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All shows will also be offered through SBS On Demand.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMichael Ebeid, SBS&#039;s managing director, remarked: &quot;SBS has a proud reputation for delivering distinctive food programming that allows Australians to delve into different cultures, and today we&#039;re excited to reveal the next course in our food menu. Food Network will offer a taste of something more, with a focus on simple, authentic and accessible everyday food inspiration from around the world, available all day, every day, across platforms, and for free.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSBS Chief Content Officer Helen Kellie said: &quot;We know how much Australians love our food&mdash;preparing and sharing meals with family and friends is at the heart of modern Australian culture. Our audiences tell us there&#039;s an appetite for something fresh and different on TV.
