HISTORY will exclusively air the hour-long documentary in the U.S. on October 18 at 10 p.m. In the U.K. and Ireland, it will premiere exclusively on a leading OTT platform. In addition, Discovery picked up the title for its free-TV channels in Spain and Italy and pay TV in Poland. Other broadcasters that have picked up the special include Nippon TV in Japan; RTL2 in Germany; Globosat in Brazil; RTBF in Belgium; DIRECTV in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Caribbean; and SRF and RTS in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAdditional deals with digital platforms in French-speaking Canada and other countries are in the works.&nbsp;<em>Back to the Present<\/em> is produced by AlloHouston and was commissioned by French&nbsp;DTT channel D8.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMatthieu Porte, CAN&rsquo;T STOP&rsquo;s founder, said, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s fantastic to nurture such a cool project from inception, and bring it to a simultaneous launch in such a large number of countries, with such a potential outreach.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tXavier Gandon, D8&rsquo;s managing director, added, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s great to commission for your channel a show you feel can have a global impact.
