BossaNova Media has inked a slew of deals in the U.S. and across Europe for some of its core brands.<\/p>\n
National Geographic picked up Ancient Autopsy<\/em>, a four-part series reexamining the deaths of four legendary ancient figures, in the U.S.<\/p>\n UKTV, Seven.One in Germany, RTL in the Netherlands and Play in Belgium acquired the seventh season of Borderforce USA<\/em>, taking a look at U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers from the Office of Field Operations.<\/p>\n Talpa in the Netherlands and DPG in Belgium licensed the second season of Airport Security: USA<\/em>, focusing on the work of border security agents.<\/p>\n BossaNova also announced that Holly Cowdery, who has served as head of sales overseeing the U.S., Canada, LatAm, the U.K., France and Italy, will be departing the company this month.<\/p>\n \u201cHolly has been a vital member of the team, and her achievements have been central to our success,\u201d said Paul Heaney, CEO of BossaNova.<\/p>\n BossaNova\u2019s sales team is undergoing a restructure with two sales manager roles to be created to expand the physical and platform territories needed to be covered to hit expanding targets. Both roles will report into Tatiana Grinkevich who remains in her position of head of sales.<\/p>\n Heaney will continue to lead U.K., U.S. and Australia sales, with support from a newly created sales assistant to be announced. The remaining territories will be reallocated between the rest of the team in due course.<\/p>\n \u201cThe decision now to switch to a more traditional sales structure is a natural evolution given BossaNova\u2019s maturing over the past five years, the size of the catalog we\u2019re now seeking to maximize and the fragmenting of platforms and channels to sell to,\u201d Heaney said. \u201cWith an increased headcount, we want to leave as little potential revenue \u2018on the table\u2019 as possible.
