Under the partnership, Grutman and Wheelhouse will co-produce original content, identify and develop new talent and co-invest in brands and IP.<\/p>\n<p>Through Groot Hospitality, Grutman owns and operates a portfolio of restaurants, nightclubs and hotels in Miami and across the U.S. He is also the co-owner and creative director of the athletics brand Prince.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWheelhouse as a company really understands my space and the stories I\u2019m trying to tell, while giving DGN the infrastructure to scale and go bigger,\u201d Grutman said. \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be working with Brent Montgomery and Jessica Zalkind at Wheelhouse and can\u2019t wait to announce new projects soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDavid is remarkable; he\u2019s a true magnet for the most creative, gifted and successful people,\u201d commented Jessica Zalking, executive VP of talent and development at Wheelhouse. \u201cHe has authentically cultivated an extraordinary network of collaborators who trust him implicitly to tell their stories, and we see him as a perfect partner for Wheelhouse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brent Montgomery, CEO of Wheelhouse, added, \u201cEntrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart, and David has taken some of the biggest swings in some of the riskiest arenas, culinary and nightlife among them.
