I\u2019m so pleased to be working alongside him as we continue to strengthen our factual slate into 2026 and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his new role, Gordon will focus on expanding the factual, specialist factual, contemporary history, archive and documentary slates with both linear and digital formats at Wise Owl Films.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced in the role of head of development, Gordon has previously worked for HiddenLight Productions, The Garden Productions, Wag Entertainment and Wall to Wall Television.<\/p>\n<p>Gordon solo-developed the Bafta award-winning T<em>he Yorkshire Ripper Files: A Very British Crime Story<\/em> for BBC Two\/Four, as well as developing the <em>Back In Time For\u2026<\/em> brand for BBC Two, <em>Britain\u2019s Secret War Babies<\/em> for Channel 4, <em>The Shipman Files: A Very British Crime Story<\/em> for BBC Two, <em>My Family, The Holocaust and Me<\/em> for BBC One, <em>The Search For Instagram\u2019s Worst Con Artist<\/em> for ITVX\/Netflix and <em>The Real Fatal Attraction<\/em> for ITVX\/Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really delighted to have been invited to join James and his fantastic team at Wise Owl and am so looking forward to helping them build on and extend their exciting and varied slate of work,\u201d said Gordon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wise Owl Films has appointed Ben Gordon as head of development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7389,"featured_media":24501,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[12151,12073,12150],"class_list":["post-24502","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-ben-gordon","tag-james-knight","tag-wise-owl","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
