Discovery (WBD) has signed a pact with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore to co-develop a slate of globally appealing unscripted titles.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will kick off at the Asia TV Forum &amp; Market with a masterclass series in which WBD executives will share insights on unscripted content development, storytelling and format globalization. There will then be a call for submissions for the IMDA-WBD original unscripted program, and shortlisted projects will progress to an unscripted bootcamp in early 2026, with the possibility of further co-production and premiere opportunities across WBD\u2019s international networks in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Select formats may subsequently be explored for inclusion in Warner Bros. International Television Production\u2019s sales portfolio for wider distribution and development opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom<em> Deadliest Catch<\/em> and <em>Property Brothers<\/em> to <em>Border Control<\/em> and <em>First Man Out<\/em>, WBD is a global leader in unscripted entertainment with universally relatable formats that scale,\u201d noted Myriam Lopez-Otazu, senior VP of international unscripted content and global networks for EMEA at WBD. \u201cWe\u2019re always on the lookout for dynamic new ideas that complement our popular slate and bring fresh stories to local and international audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIMDA is excited to collaborate with WBD to develop unscripted content which may include formats such as documentaries and reality series,\u201d said Yvonne Tang, assistant chief executive of the media industry group at IMDA. \u201cThis is where Singapore\u2019s creative talent meets international expertise.
