Fremantle has acquired the international distribution rights, excluding the U.S., for Live Nation Studios\u2019 documentary Billy Idol Should Be Dead<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Directed by Grammy winner Jonas \u00c5kerlund, the film combines never-before-seen archival footage with revealing interviews, featuring Billy Idol himself, his bandmates, family and fellow music artists such as Miley Cyrus and Green Day\u2019s Billie Joe Armstrong.<\/p>\n

The feature-length documentary chronicles Idol\u2019s punk beginnings to superstardom in the MTV era. It also reveals the near-death experiences that silenced him forever and unveils how a DNA test led to him discovering a long-lost son.<\/p>\n
